I can’t believe that it has been almost a year since my web site was created by the wonderful Phil Simpson and since my one and only blog was entered! Quite a scary thought really as to how time flies but, I think it is about time I got my act together and started trying to make an effort to write something on a regular basis.  Not sure that anyone will read it but here goes!!

So much has happened and a lot of lovely brides and customers have come through the door of  The Flower Shop in the last year. I am so lucky to be doing what I love and to be fulfilling the dream I have always had.

I love it when brides come into the shop knowing what they want yet being incredibly relaxed and flexible about the whole thing. Some weddings just go really well and are a pleasure to do. Others can be a bit more tricky. On the 3rd August 2013 I did the wedding flowers for Abigail and Frank. They got married at St.Mary’s Church, Bruton and had their reception at the Memorial Hall, King’s School, Bruton. They were such a lovely couple and I really enjoyed doing their wedding flowers. Here are some pictures from their day.
